Exploring Myrtle Beach

Hello friends! I just got back from a trip to Myrtle Beach with my mom, and I wanted to share some photos with y’all!

We left at about 10 AM, and of course we had to grab some iced coffee and a doughnut before we hit the road.

We arrived around 2 and immediately hit the beach. The weather was BEAUTIFUL. We stayed out the rest of the day and ate dinner in the hotel.

After dinner we saw the most incredible sunset! The moon was full that night, and it shone so brightly with the other colors in the sky.

Friday, November 3

Friday morning we went to Ripley’s Aquarium. My favorite part is a tunnel that you can walk through that’s underneath the water where the fish and sharks are swimming all around you. It’s so cool, but kind of unnerving!

After the aquarium we went to Wahlburgers for lunch. They have some of the best food I’ve ever had, hands down. My mom got the Fiesta Burger on a chopped salad, and I got macaroni and cheese with bacon and pulled pork. Y’all. I can’t. It. Was. So. Good.

Also, it’s clear that I’m the healthy eater in the family.

I sat on a bench for a while after eating as I was ridiculously full.

But of course I made a little room in my stomach for Starbucks.

Disclaimer: this photo is completely candid. I clearly love my coffee.

After Starbucks we did a little shopping and then headed back to the hotel.

Saturday, November 4

I didn’t get pictures of this (don’t ask me why idk) but we were run off the beach by horses Saturday morning. Yep, you heard me right. Horses. We didn’t know it at the time, but there was a fundraiser for the American Heart Association going on that weekend where over 1200 (!!!) horses rode on the beach. As you can imagine, the smell got a little overwhelming by the time we finally packed up and left.

So yeah, that happened.

That night we went to Live Original. It was so powerful and such an inspiring experience. It made me even more thankful for the great God we have.

Also, this made me laugh.

Sunday, November 5

I don’t have any pictures from Sunday, but all we did was leave our hotel in the morning to head home. I had such a great time!

I hope you enjoyed this post! It’s a little different than what I usually write, but I thought it would be fun to share a little bit of my life with you guys.

Have a great week, everyone! Happy Monday!
