We all have those days.
We wake up.
We look in the mirror.
And there it is, blaring at us like Rudolph’s nose.
While covering it with makeup isn’t the best option for making it heal, sometimes it’s just what has to be done.
Here’s how I do it.
1. Acne medication
Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment does wonders for my acne. Make sure you layer on a lot since you’re going to be putting makeup on top of it. This helps treat the actual problem instead of just disguising it.
This One Heck of a Blot primer gives the makeup a smoother surface to stick to.
3. Tinted Moisturizer
I’ve been using this the past couple of years and it’s seriously the best. It’s not full coverage, but it has enough tint to even out your skin tone. Plus it has sunscreen! Use the sponge to apply across your face, and concentrate more of the product in the area with the blemish.
The Shape Tape Concealer is seriously the best. A little goes a long way, so only apply a small amount to the pimple. Blend out with the sponge.
5. Setting Powder
Apply powder directly to the pimple to set the concealer and foundation.
6. Eyeshadow (yep, you read that right)
Using a neutral eyeshadow that matches your skin tone, brush on a little bit on top of the pimple. The translucent powder can make it seem lighter than your skin, so this helps even it back out.
Can you see a pimple? I didn’t think so! This has been a foolproof way for me to cover up my pimples, and I hope it works for you too!
Have a great day you guys! ❤
