Glowy Summer Makeup Using Drugstore Products

Hey guys! I hope you had a wonderful week, I know I did. Prom is tonight and I can’t wait! Photos to come soon, of course. 😘

I’m so excited to be sharing this post with you today! It’s something I’ve been gathering the products for for a while, and I really love how it turned out. If you love highlighted, neutral toned makeup looks this one is for you! It’s also foundation free, but you can easily add your favorite foundation underneath if you’d like.

My naked face, pre-makeup!

1. Concealer (shade “light”) + Powder

As you can see, this concealer is very well-loved. Once my tarte shape tape runs out I will probably be completely replacing it with this one. Maybelline just released some additional shades as well, so if you haven’t been able to find your shade previously be sure to check again! It’s very full-coverage and doesn’t crease under the eyes.

This powder is a more recent fave, it’s SO velvety and smooth. It’s a loose powder so it’s a little messy, but totally worth it in my opinion.

2. Bronzer (shade “reserve your cabana”)

I’ll be honest – I wasn’t a huge fan of this bronzer the first several times I tried it out. It’s very powdery and hard to manage, but after a little practice I got the hang of it. It’s still not my favorite bronzer in the world, but I still like the color. Apply this under your cheekbones and dust lightly under the chin and the top of your forehead.

3. Blush (shade “mellow mauve”)

This is such a lovely blush color! It’s not very pigmented so you have to build it up to the shade you want, but I still enjoy it. It gives a natural flush to the skin that I think is very flattering. Smile and apply to the apples of your cheeks!

4. Highlighter #1 and #2 (shades “blossom glow” and “moonlight pearls”)

I love how these two highlights look when mixed together! The Wet’n’Wild one has a pink undertone, while the e.l.f. one is more gold. These are the best drugstore highlights I’ve tried out, they’re so pigmented and beautiful. I applied these to the tops of my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, and my cupid’s bow.

5. Eyebrows (shade “taupe)

This brow pencil is LIFE CHANGING. Okay, maybe that’s a strong term. Definitely makeup-routine changing, though. Lightly fill in your brows, nothing too harsh.

6. Eye Primer + Eyeshadow (shades “sheer” and “nude awakening”)

This primer is a lot thinner than my favorite one from Urban Decay, but it still does a great job of locking shadow into place.

For eyeshadow, I dusted the lightest shimmer brown shade all over the lid, then the rose gold color on the outer half. After my eyeshadows were applied, I dampened a brush and added the e.l.f. highlighter on the inner half. We’re going for a natural look, so no dark colors!

7. Mascara #1 and #2

This is my favorite mascara combo right now! I apply the Maybelline one first for length, then the one from L’Oreal for volume.

8. Lip Gloss (shade “charmer”)

This is currently my go-to liquid lip gloss! It’s like “your lips, but better” and I seriously love it. It’s also very long lasting. (This is a terrible photo wow Hannah way to go)

9. Setting Spray

Finish off your makeup look with this setting spray! My makeup doesn’t budge whenever I use this.

This is the final look! I love how it turned out. It’s very natural and perfect for summertime.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know over on my Instagram what kind of posts you want to see me do this summer.

Have a great weekend, everyone! ❤️
