What Your Boyfriend REALLY Wants for Christmas

Hey guys! Today I’m bringing you a super exciting post that’s been in the making for a while. Stephen (my cutie boyfriend) wrote a list of 10 things that a boyfriend would actually want from their girlfriend for Christmas. It was so fun working with him on this, I loved getting his input on gift ideas. I had actually already finished buying his gifts for Christmas but now I have some great ideas for his birthday in January. 😋

(Side note: I just now realized I can embed links into the photos instead of in the text…I’m smart. You can click on the photo to see a link to the product!)

1. Their Girlfriend by Their Side

Okay, I promise the rest of the gifts are actual items…I just thought it was sweet that Stephen wanted this to be #1 on the list. I’ll always be by your side, dear. ❤

Don’t click off because of the mushiness, I beg you. Hang in there. It gets better. Or does it? I can’t make any promises.

2. A Picture and Frame

If you’re anything like me and my boyfriend, you take a lottttt of photos together. Why not frame some and give them as a gift?

This frame/photo holder is great if you have a Polaroid camera! I personally do not, but a lot of my friends do so I thought I’d include this option.

This is a nice solid option that you wouldn’t have to worry about matching the colors of the photo. It’s only $4 from Target!

If you need some photo inspiration (I totally don’t just want to post photos of me and my boyfriend pshhh whatchu talking about) here are some ideas!

Photos at their favorite restaurant are a great choice!
Or perhaps a photo of when you made him go Christmas shopping with you.
Or just a photo from a fun date!

Okay, I’m done with the photo spam. I can’t help it, I love taking pictures with him.

See, I told you I couldn’t promise whether the mushiness would stop.

3. Slippers

I personally don’t wear slippers (I’m a fuzzy socks kind of gal), but my dad does quite often. I didn’t know Stephen did until he sent me this list though, lol. Clearly I’m great at paying attention.

These are great for the more conservative guy in your life. My dad has these and wears them every day!

If your man is more quirky with a strong sense of humor, he’ll probably get a kick out of novelty slippers like these. Bonus points if he takes a picture in them.

4. A Jacket

This is a nice, generic jacket that will go with everything. It’s lined with sherpa so it will be warm for those of you who live in colder climates.

This Nike training jacket is perfect for the sports-lover or athlete. It’s still a generic color so it can be paired with anything, but it’s more slim-fitting and casual.

5. A Leather Wallet

You can’t go wrong with a good-quality leather wallet as a gift. This one from Fossil is nice, I like the finish and the two textures of leather they used.

6. An Item to Go With Their Hobby (Hunting, Fishing, etc.)

I don’t have any specific items to link for this, but if your boyfriend has a specific interest, see if you can find out something he wants/needs that goes along with it!

7. A Shirt That the Girlfriend Likes

Hehe “girlfriend”, that’s me.

Oh snippy snap, that rhymed. I’m basically a professional poet.

Moving on.

I’m a big fan of flannel shirts – they’re super soft and you can never go wrong with plaid.

If you want to be cheesy and cute with a line like “You’re my Superman” or something like that, this shirt would be perfect.

8. Cologne That the Girlfriend Likes

I have 0 suggestions for this category because I don’t have strong preferences with cologne. As long as a guy doesn’t bathe in it, it’s fine with me. My advice: go sniff a bunch at your nearest department store and buy one that you like. Helpful, I know.

9. A Memory Book

Shutterfly has some cute photo books that would be a great gift, especially if you’ve been together for a while and have a lot of photos.

10. A Watch

This is such a classy watch – I love the navy and brown. It’s relatively inexpensive and from Target, but a more expensive, equally classy option is Daniel Wellington. Depending on your budget, either of these are great choices!

There you have it, folks. What your boyfriend really wants for Christmas. I hope you found this post helpful in your search for the perfect gift for your special someone! (Flashback to that scene from Elf…does anyone else love that movie as much as I do?)

I hope you all have a great week, and good luck to those of you with finals!
